Tying your waistbeads
Please be gentle with yourself as you’re about to tie your waistbeads. They should always be comfortable to wear. Determine where you want yours to fall first, and your reason and then attempt your first knot. Breathe. Be gentle.
Wrap your strand about your body. Do not suck in your stomach. Ensure all beads are pushed tightly together to the back of you. There should be no spaces in between the beads, before you tie them.
Cross the threads around your body and hold them in place (before knotting) to confirm if you like where they would fall. When you’re certain where you want them to fall, loop the threads to make the first knot.
How to make the first knot.
Loop the threads just like you would when about to knot a shoe lace, BUT before you pull the knot, loop it one more time. Pull the threads to secure the knot, after looping the threads 2x.
Securing (your waistbeads)
Half the threads on either end, so that you’re holding half of the threads from each side of the strand, and half is not in your hands. Now, make 2 more knots (with the halves of each side).
Switch to the halves you did not hold before, and give those a knot too. Pull tight. Cut the threads close to the knot.
OPTIONAL: burn the ends of the (severed) thread, and quickly snub out the flame before it reaches the knot. Roll the burned ends quickly.A History For Weght Loss
